What time do set your sniper for?

I have a code to use for ebay and would like to set a snipe up for an item I like. I am using just snipe, how long before the auction ends should I set the time for, minutes / seconds?

i usually go for 5 seconds, have had issues with missed bids on any less, i use auction sentry.

I've got it set for 10 seconds at the moment, any ideas how reliable just snipe is?

I'm using just snipe and like it, usually set it 8 sec to go and so far so good. It's lowest you can set if you use free service. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't offer pay-per-snipe payment option, but it does offer 5 free snipes/week and most times that's enough for me.

I use bidnip (there's a free trial) set for 5 seconds.

I use goofbay and set for 2 seconds and it has never let me down yet.......

I use phantombidder and it's set at 3 seconds. No problems at all.

Goofbay every time and I've won 99% of the time as said above it's free too. Don't set your snipe for less than 5 secs

the only time i lost an auction was when another buyer had placed a higher bid much earlier than i did.
