drag & drop in VISTA

I used windows explorer to drag & drop my pictures/files/music to my USB pen drive with my old PC ( windows XP) It was so easy. Now with Vista, apart from the fact that I cant find windows explorer in the menu, when I open "computer shortcut" - which takes me to the same place- there are 2 panels as usual, but whereas in XP, if I double clicked a file in the L panel, it opened up all the folders in that file- now in Vista, it opens the folders in the R panel. Is there a way I can configuire this so I can do the same as I did before. Dont want to abandon Vista, as on the whole its OK, although I know many people who simply say it is full of bells & whistles, but XP is more functional.

You have to click on the little blue triangle next to the folder name in the left hand frame. You'll always miss 100% of the shots you don't take - Wayne Gretzky
Any advice that you receive from me is worth exactly what you paid for it. Not a penny more or a penny less.0 -
