Only just realised bt home phone line not working. Just reported it and it will be thursday till fixed! My compensation for being without a phone just £1 a day, but that doesn't start till 4pm tomorrow, first day doesn't count, plus refund of line rental. The fault is their's so why does it take so long to fix!!! :mad:

The only good thing is that any incoming calls will now be diverted to my mobile, but it still means I will not be able to make outgoing calls until thurday unless I want to make them via my mobile.

Actually I think they are damn good terms. If you phone stops working completely for one day they refund an entire months line rental, and then you can also get further compensation at a rate of a pound a day.

I know numerous people who've had broken NTL connections for weeks on end and still have to pay.

They don't refund one month's rental, they refund one day, or in my case three days. Where do you get they refund an entire month's rental? I would rather have the use of my phone. I usually use 18866 via bt for my phonecalls and now any calls I have to make will be on my payg mobile, appox 25p a minute!
