Peoples Choice Insurance

I tried the confused.com to get a quotes for my car insurance to see if they were cheaper than my current Esure one.
The cheapest was peoples choice. After speaking to one of their advisors I said I would think about it and call back. He gave me his direct number (also freefone).
When I phoned back however, he was on the phone, and the guy was not very helpful. I eventually got through to him and he dealt with my question and said I would call back again.
The second time I got another useless person who was very unhelpful and stupid!
It didnt inspire any confidence of being insured with these people so I went back and renewed with esure.
Just wondered whether anyone is insured with this company - or if anyone has any feed back at all?

Hi, I was insured thru Peoples Choice last year. No problems at all, helpful and efficient in the phone dealings I had with them. Did not need to make any claim, yes they do seem to come up with good quotes.
I only changed from them this year, as my car is vintage, and I went for the more specialised vintage insurance.
Oh well, I guess (like most places) it depends on who you get on the other end, p'raps they've changed some employees...Bless Martin's Little Cotton Socks. I thank him for giving us MSE. Look what its grown into!

With most call centres there's no point at all calling back the same person you dealt with in the first place - the chances are that they will be busy on another call, and any other member of staff will have access to exactly the same information regarding your enquiry.
That's why most companies wouldn't even suggest you call back a direct line - strange that he did so.0 -
yes I know its unusual but I'm asuming that he did it so that if he sold the policy he got the commission?0
