Cheap car hire at Faro Airport?

Hi,

Can anyone please advise of cheap car hire in Faro.

I have searched a couple of website and some cars don't come with air con! I though air con in hot countries was more important than the steering wheel :-)

Small compacts in Europe sometimes do not have Air Con, which is a must in July\August (except in UK of course:eek:)

We hired a car from Faro airport in May through Carjet. Very reasonably priced, although the first car we were offered was a Rover 25. After we stopped laughing they gave us an Opel Corsa with aircon.

Carjet are consolidators, and our car was from Europcar. They take you by shuttle bus to their compound about a mile away to collect the car. We have used Carjet several times and they have been fine every time, and about half the cost of booking direct!!

I recently posted a similar thread & also found some codes to put in to the Avis website which brought the price down by £200 !! Type Avis into the search at the top of this thread & you should find it. Good luck

Hi,

I would recommend carjet every time. Used them recently to rent at Lisbon airport but know they rent at Faro too. They're very professional and efficient ... no, I don't work for them ... I was just grateful to find a car hire company that didn't try to rip us off.
