Sat-nav seeking new mapset

I bought a Garmin Quest almost 5 years ago and it had a set of Europe City Select CD maps included. They are a bit out of date now and there are no updates available from Garmin. It's a great sat-nav and I'm reluctant to replace it, however Garmin tell me a new set of Euro-maps is due out soon and I'll get them a bit cheaper as I'm registered with them. I fear they will still be very expensive but don't know how much? Does anyone know a likely price? Would I be better to just buy a new Sat-nav and hand down my old one to the family who seldom drive abroad and anyway there's no new roads in the UK!

I think new maps would be around £60. A Nuvi 250 with European mapping is currently £105 at Amazon so it would still be cheaper to buy new maps but if youc ould sell yours for a few quid a new one may be worth it.
BTW I bought a Nuvi 250 from Amazon when they were £115 and it's a very good unit. It's my problem, it's my problem

Thanks guys for these replies. I tried e-mailing them again and got a quick reply. It looks like I am getting a 2008 disc from them. (in 4/6 weeks) I don't think I have to pay for it but I need to get an unlock code from Garmin so maybe I will have to pay for that?0
