Morgan Stanley/Goldfish

I have had a Morgan Stanley (now Goldfish) credit card for some years.

I use it regularly, but rarely go over 20% of my credit limit, I always pay it off in full each month.
I have been phoned on several occasions when "unusual" transactions occurred on my account - all bona fide.

I recently got caught up in the Maxjet failure. I was not only refunded the amount on my card but was paid an additional £1000 which I had to pay extra for tickets with BA. This was all done with a couple of letters; certainly none of the blatant delaying tactics employed by other card issuers that I have seen reported on this site over this failure.

Today I received a letter saying that my credit limit had been increased yet again.

After the shameful antics of Egg towards many of their customers could I offer a "well done" to Morgan Stanley/Goldfish !

  • I have been a loyal customer with MS for years.
I too have had the phone calls a few times. I just left a suit place paying £600 and the phone rang. Have i spent £8 in asda "yes". Have I spent £600 for suits, "yes". Thankyou and have a good afternoon.

Also I got a phone call whilst my card was being questioned in Halfords. We have some suspicious activity and doubt it's yours. £500 from a betting website. They approved my halfords payment then suspended my account. New card in post only days later and one signiture and prepaid envelope cleared the fraud. No hint of it on my credit report which is good.

In a world where credit cards rip you off, MS/goldfish seam to be one of the best.
Lets get this straight. Say my house is worth £100K, it drops £20K and I complain but I should not complain when I actually pay £200K via a mortgage:rolleyes:

Sounds good! I had a morgan stanley card which turned into goldfish, used it to get the cashback, and my experience with them was entirely positive as well.
