Hi,
I laughed at this when my friend told me the story.:rotfl:
His wife has just had a knee operation, so he is doing his bit about the house.:T
He was doing a tidy up in the bedroom and picked up a handful of tissues, which he then flushed down the toilet.
It turned out later that his wife had wrapped her dental plate with three teeth on it in a tissue, which he in his enthusaism had flushed away. :rotfl:
It is going to cost about £200 for a new plate.:rotfl:
Thing is, will he be able to claim on his house contents insurance, would it be classed as 'lost', or would it come under 'accidental' whatever, and how could he explain it, without being laughed at. :rotfl:
Thanks for now, I still think it's funny. :rotfl::rotfl:

it would be classed as an accidental loss and would be insured under the personal belongings/possesions section.
might be worth paying the £200 to avoid the embarressment though0 -
Hi,
thanks for the reply,
I agree would take a bit of explaining, but that's what happened.
Would maybe be more plausible if it had happened on holiday, say if wife had dived into pool and lost plate then.0 -
Is it worth claiming for £200 when they will lose some NCB, have to declare a claim in future and have to pay the excess.
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0
