You could add..never buy a red car, as it fades in time. Is red the only colour to do this?

All colours fade, except those colours on cars owned by people who wax them regularly.

    Quick question here...

Got someone coming to look at my car tomorrow.
Now I only get my new car tomorrow and was planning to change over my private plates on monday. Which means taking in the V5, MOT cert etc (the car has tax).

This person says that if they like it they'll pay cash and drive it away as they're coming 100 miles to see it. Obviously I can get one of those marker pens which can check the money for fakes.

My worry if they take it straight away is the following:
-They're gonna want to take the MOT cert with them? I need this to show the DVLA to get amended.
-They drive it away on my old number plate which I'm not happy about.
-They won't have insurance as they've not seen the number plate as I masked it on the advert.
-Will the money checker pen by 100% accurate. There's no way forgeries can slip through is there?

    Any ideas about this?
I'm struggling to get interest even though the car is immaculate because it's a common car and I really need to sell it.
is it reasonable to have worries.

    Thanks
    Jo
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.

You should contact them and tell them not to come tomorrow, you can't sell the car until you get it a new number plate. So it's a trip tomorrow to your local DVLA office and see how long it will take from there, if it's a straight forward thing you could then head to a local motorfactors have the plates made and then have the car ready to go by tomorrow evening?

Agreed, get the plate change completed before selling the car, don't worry about the buyer having no insurance, that is their problem.
