Educational school trip that wasn't! FIRST POST UPDATED

It did used to be common practice on school trips if the teachers were young and trendy!! I well remember being 15 and going on a school trip witht the young fanciable English teacher and bohemian older English teacher. Instead of doing the rounds of Nat trust properties in Stratford before a theatre performance we were let loose whilst they went to the pub!! We thought it was great, but my mum had no idea and I didnt enlighten her!!.
That young fanciable English teacher married a 6th former he taught.......but that is another story!!
Times change though, and informal arrangement or not, parents should have been informed and the actual purpose of the visit should not have been so blatantly disregarded.0 -
