    Why dont you remove an IDE cable for a CD ROM or DVD and connect it there?

    It may also be just a faulty controller card?

    Once you connected it up to your computer and you still find that you cannot access the drive, there is one solution that may work but it will ruin what is left of your drive.

    If the information is important enough try this. Place the hard drive in a plastic bag in the freezer for 20mins to 30mins and reconnect it back to your comuter. You may be able to access some information on the drive but only for a short while before the drive completely knackers itself.
