Checked online statements and everything is present and correct. Nothing at all out of place.

Available Balance is still showing as £-4122.02 though and my debit card is still being declined.

Looks like a phone call in the morning, but god knows how im gonna put this into speech. Saying that though, I shouldn't have to.

Just to let you know they can look at outstanding authorisations and who the money is "meant" to go to, just give your 16 digit debit card number.

Right, spoken to abbey. Spoke to india first, woman looked at transactions on my account and confirmed there were pending authorisations for a total of £6810. I asked what they were for and she couldn't tell me but she put me through to an authorisations department. Spoke to a bloke who was english, he took my details and checked the account, said that his screen was telling him my account was in credit on the available balance and there weren't any pending authorisations. I told him that I couldn't use my card and that online banking was saying £-4,122.02 said he couldn't understand it and I should be able to use my cards as everything was fine his end and would have to transfer me back to banking as he wasn't trained to deal with this. back to india, this time a bloke who was harder to understand. He checked the account and said that £6810 was pending as the woman i spoke to previously said but he said that he could see that the transactions had already been added to my statement and the pending authorisations would drop off my account by the end of today and my account would be in credit.

Do I have confidence in it happening?, No. We'll see though later on if it actually happens.
