i think my item might be lost..

in the post! the seller says they posted the item a week ago by 1st class delivery (there was no other option or insurance option). I still have not received it. It wasnt a massively expensive item- a £8 ballet skirt how long b4 its proclaimed lost and then am i right in thinking i cant get any money bk?

    A week isn't a massive length of time really in RM world... and are you 100% sure it was a week ago... and not them just fobbing you off and being slack?

    Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j

    As you paid by paypal you can open a dispute. Personally I'd give it another week first - and then email them again asking for a refund BEFORE opening the dispute - unless you have reason to suspect the seller is dishonest.

    If you paid by PayPal then you will almost certainly get your money back. The seller should have sent it by insured trackable delivery or least recorded delivery. These are PayPal/eBay rules, if he did not send it by recorded delivery he must refund your money in full. However I would wait a few more days before doing anything.
