What an amazing win! Hugest of Congrats! I went to work in India for 2 stints of 3 months each time. Was a country of contrasts, hugely rich then the heart wrenchingly poor alongside. The people I met over there were so friendly & generous. I echo what Toniq said about not eating anything from vendors on the side of the road, go for a restaurant every time & ensure when you come back that you keep up with the malaria tablets for as long as it says. Also only buy your bottled water from a shop where you can check the bottle lid seal is still intact - we were told on our work orientation seminar (to get us ready for working over there) that some people sell bottled water, make a thing about opening the bottle for you but it is actually an old bottle filled from the stream or tap & they pretend to open it! :eek:)

It truly is a magnificent country & I am sure you'll have a wonderful time - oh if you have a digital camera then make sure that you take a few large memory cards as you will probably see so much that you will want to capture on film (monkeys running around a train station & cattle standing around in the middle of the road are a couple of things that people just would not have believed I had seen if I hadn't had photographic evidence )
