prepayment meter - too pricey

Hi, when I moved here a year ago, there was already a meter in for both gas and electric, so I thought for convenience I would stay with that.

Now I am in a position to change, and want to as its far too expensive.

Gas is with British Gas, and Electric is with NPower.

I tried going though the energy helpline link, but it only gives me options for a prepayment meter still. USwitch is still loading its page!

Does this mean I cant get the £30 cashback and do I have to stay with a meter?

If you have a PP meter, you'll need to either swap it with your current supplier or join a new one as a PP customer then swap it.
Might be easier with your current suppliers. British Gas will probably ask to credit vet you first.
