whats that got to do with it? if someone is fit for work then they shouldnt be on sickness benefits, they should be looking for work.
im not knocking the genuine claimants who need help off society, its the shirkers who believe they are owed a living that are giving the rest a bad time

Was this an IB or an ESA medical? However you can appeal the decision to award your husband 0 points, you use a GL24
It may be a good idea if you were to request a copy of the medical assessment that the "healthcare" professional submitted to the DWP's Decision Maker to check for accuracy and to decide if you should have been awarded points when you were given no points. It has been known for Atos assessment reports to contain a "few" discrepancies!!

Whilst appealing, you can if your husband wishes remain on ESA, though at a reduced rate i.e. the assessment rate.

It was a IB medical assessment. He is going to appeal and get a copy of the medical assessment. He got the questionnaire today that was filled out whilst he was there and some of the questions that he answered yes to, the doctor ticked no. Although this didn't add up to 15 points, I'm sure that the medical assessment will indicate more points that the doctor has failed to put down. If anything, it's not the fact that he is having to go onto jobseeker's allowance that is annoying my husband, it's the fact that the doctor isn't being entirely truthful on his report.

I would be amazed if I ever met an atos assessor who did tell the truth on a report - seriously.
[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that

If you are fit for work, is that any reason not to look for them?

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton
