Since posting earlier, I've now paid off my 4 yr old Cahoot loan which was costing me £205 a month. I'm now free of the 48 month trap I put myself into all those years ago.
It's not quite sunk in that it's gone yet as I still have other bills to pay this month which are bothering me, but I'll feel the benefits next month in a big, big way!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
I've checked my banking - overdraft down!!
Taken cash from OH!!
Done clicks
Playing free bingo (does that count!)
Dried washing inside
& thinking about sorting out ebay listings!0 -

), got fairtrade bananas reduced to 68p (still very green), smart price mince, Asda own brand doritos, Asda smart price tomato ketchup (good for adding onto sauces), cheese (checked the price per kg which was cheaper than their smart price cheese I would normally assume was cheapest), 1 x 1/2 price Underground Ernie top for DS (£2.50) and another Disney t-shirt 1/2 price for DS (£2.50). Went to my fave cashier and used £5 off Asda baby/George voucher so DS clothes = free, and money off coupons £2.10, £2, £1.25, 25p, 30p and 20p. - Found 1p

Having compiled my updated SOA I have from today started a spending diary as I seem to be "losing" over £200 PM

Also done snowballs and saved those so I know how much I need to pay to whom each month.
I feel better already
