Friday 14/03/08 What small dfw thing have you done today???

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.

Today I have /will
  • Checked online banking - Woo Hoo its pay day:D
  • Done clicks
  • Make storecupboard meals
  • Make bread in breadmaker
Will think of more as day goes on:rolleyes:
Have a good day everyone, glad the weather seems to have settled down now.
Hi to any new posters:D
Catch you all later have lots of meetings today with social services etc.
Reduce,re-use, recycle.

    Lunch and dinner from fridge
Apart from bills, bread and milk its a NSD here.

I hope to do an up to date SOA at some point, need to tighten belt, have no idea what I can cut though :( Got this nagging feeling that I'm not doing enough.

Spent six quid on shopping in Tesco but made sure everything except one item was 'own brand'. Also found a receipt in the car park with 11 points on it, so will add that next trip!

Have referred a friend to Pigsback and told him how to check his credit score using it (getting 800 points in the process) and once he claims a reward, I get 500 points!
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

Hi all, am an early poster today as am off work again with this cold, had it almost a week and its not shifting, feeling as bad as i did on the first day, now going onto my chest.

Anway, onwards and upwards! My dfw things for today have been/are:
-Looked for mystery shops and picked up a nice meal for Sunday
-Am working through emails, which will involve surveys and click to read emails
    -Do daily clicks
-Will read up on healthy forums, marketing strategies for setting up my business
    -Look for more jobs
-Bought my massage bed off ebay, so have got it for a fraction of the cost and got a nice folder for client infor for only 50p from the shop(was in the reduced section)
    -Check online banking
-Try and sort out some money so i can continue matched bettin
    -Do piggy clicks
-Try and get some studying done so that i have less to do especially as i have a tutorial tomorrow.

Well think thats it for me, don't want to overdo it. Enjoy your day everyone.
