I totally agree with the above post. One minute begging - then see post 195 giving away 144 points?????????????? Its all a bit weird.
I used to have a life............................... before MSE!!

I'm really confused as to what's going on! He/she PM'd me offering me codes in return for coke points, when i accepted i heard nothing. Seems a bit strange to be begging for them, then so obviously giving them away at the same time....0

ILC had repeatedly put up posts requesting pm's for the exchange of coke points for her brit points... they were repeatedly reported to abuse (it is against forum rules) and the respective posts were removed...
No idea what planet ILC is on, one post begging for certain points then another begging to have them exchanged for a different set of points...
I look forward to their reply...
Just a reminder of the board rules:
"PM requests / offers of codes
Please note that requesting someone to PM you a code, or indeed offering to PM others a code is something that we are unable to allow. As long as your code fits the criteria for posting, as can be seen in > OUR RULES < there should be no reason that you cannot post it on the Discount codes board.
Anyone asking/offering a code over PM will have unfortunately have their post removed and persistent such requests/offers may lead to further action.
Thanks for your understanding."0 -
I didn't know that mountainchisriver, I never read rules. I prefer the other way so I know a MSE user receives the code but I will post codes here from now on!

Think of all the things you can do for free such as a nice picnic tea on a handy patch of grass. Or a good long walk round the local places of interest. Or a visit to a free museum. Or organise a game of rounders in the park. But if your children don't like those sort of pastimes, perhaps you could ask on the forum if anybody would like to send you a spare Wii or PS3 to keep them occupied. Mind you, that wouldn't help them socialise much, would it?
The ones I feel sorry for, and feel need some help to get them to socialise better, are the poor, lonely, only children who aren't as blessed as your. These poor, solitary kids may be loaded down with material goodies, but don't have a ready-made group like yours for them to practice getting on with others, and may indeed end up in need of some serious therapy in later years.
Count your blessings that yours are unlikely to suffer in this way!
good post. I was worrying the other day about finding money for this and that. Single parent and no money etc.. but then thought I am worrying about taking kids to theme parks and zoos etc. This even with free offers is still often more than I can manage but we can hop on train with my railcard and go many places for under a tenner for family. Once there you can go museums for free and parks also. I used to dread holidays but now love to explore new areas and you never know what you will find. We also cycle everywhere so we take bikes for day out and picnic. I have also been in debt in life and actually this is usually because I have decided to live above means or get something i could do without. I have learned that the kids aren't happy if I am worrying about money so the important thing is that we spend time together. This site is great for making you think about your life and how to live happily for less. Cheers moneysavers for all your info!:j I sometimes give myself admirable advice, but am incapable of taking it.0 -

If so, what form of ID do you need to show for kids. I am taking a friends child; what id should I borrow for him? TIA0

hi
ive printed off 2 1/2 price tickets to chessington. it says one voucher per transaction. just wondered how a child can use a ticket as needs to be over 18 obviously. you only seem to see the t and c's after youve spent the points? couldnt change the name on ticket to my daughters either so both say my name. it wouldnt be a good deal if i have to pay for one full price what with the offeres of 2 for 1 around.
i thought the child just had to have the adult with the name printed on the voucher there with them at the time, not that the adult has to be paying for a ticket. after all, the named adult could be a season pass holder.'bad mothers club' member 13
