Hi im trying to reclaim MPPI but im not sure if what i have was Life Assurance or PPI.. is there a difference? This probably is a stupid question but its really confusing..

For what reason? Remember that mortgage payment protection is different to loan payment protection.is there a difference?
Yes, one pays out in the event of death and you have no chance of getting a mis-sale on that unless you have no financial dependents.
