Life Assurance and MPPI

Hi im trying to reclaim MPPI but im not sure if what i have was Life Assurance or PPI.. is there a difference? This probably is a stupid question but its really confusing..

thanks..

my booklet states payment cover

but i thought i had life assurance cover

    For what reason? Remember that mortgage payment protection is different to loan payment protection.

    Yes, one pays out in the event of death and you have no chance of getting a mis-sale on that unless you have no financial dependents.

    Mortgage payment protection is a budget form of income protection.
