I only ever had this for a short while prior to being made redundant and found DD and SO a pain in the butt! I got round it by having a 2nd current account so I transferred money out of one ba that wages went into, into another that the dds cam e out ofhuxley37 wrote:hi i am just starting a new job which pays 4 weekly have always been paid monthly b4 how do you adjusy budget?0 -
My wife is paid 4 weekly and it's a pain sometimes trying to transfer savings out of our current account and into our high interest savings accounts, whilst trying to maintain enough in the account for DD's etc.
However (and I don't know if you've worked this out yet?), look on the bright side.....
Once a year you'll get paid twice in the same month.

We get paid four weekly. I judge my four weekly wage to be my monthly wage, and budget accordingly. Then, once a year, I get a 'free month', where I get a wage but don't have any bills to pay. This either goes on savings or treats!0
