Small progress has been made over the year but we're ramping it up now and saying the small progress isn't enough. At least they can't see we haven't been patient.:rotfl:

So, the builders have been out and checked everything is sealed and even run some more sealant around the windows and checked the insulation is in place. No difference though.

We've bought two digital thermomotres and are taking pictures of these daily to show the temerpature difference. It's on average 5 degrees colder in the worst effected room. Not too bad in summer but awful in winter. The letting agent are trying strong arm tactics now though
I've now spoken to BUILDER again and he is going to speak to someone in technical (who actually draws up the plans)tomorrow and come back to me.
I've said I can let them in to the apartment by key as soon as they are available.

It's a way off the Winter yet but if it's still not sorted to your satisfaction (or they say it's built to current standards) then I suppose you have the option not to renew in August?

    Let's see what happens.

    Regards
To me that reads as "if the people who built it say it's OK (and bear in mind they haven't been on site for over a year because they're losing money hand over fist so good luck in getting them to admit anything) then put up or push off"

Can't believe the people who (potentially) have made mistakes in the build get the final say on the quality

If we end up having to move we'll look into suing them for the difference in price between a 1-bed and 2-bed plus the cost of moving. They've had a long time to put this right and are, in my personal opinion, introducing delays in the progress to make it harder to diagnose in the warmer weather.
