we are thinking of getting a shower fitted .
I am just unsure what we will need to get a good shower . we have a hot water cylinder in the airing cupboard though we don't get very good water pressure from this . our cold water pressure is excellent .
we have been unable tgo use those push on shower attachments becasue the cold water just runs too fast for the hot water to have any effect at all even with the tap all the way on. does this mean a mixer shower wouldn't work ?
my mum has an electric shower and the pressure is terrible is there anything you can do to make sure that doesn't happen to us ?
lastly power showers ? what is the difference and how much more would it cost to fit than a mixer or electric shower ?
any advice at all would be great .
thanks in advance

if the cold water pressure is good then an electric shower will work fine, mine comes off the main feed not via a tank which yours may do ...check in the loftEx forum ambassador

Have a look at GROHL showers. They are a little more than most but for a good power shower that lasts and does the job GROHL cant be beaten!

Unless you're prepared to use a pump or change the boiler go for the electric shower, it will be fed directly from the mains and so provided you get a high wattage (around 12Kw) then there should be no problems with the pressure or flow rate.0
