U-Switch "Free wine"

Has anyone got the free case of wine when they switched gas/electric providers?

All I got was a voucher for £40 off if I spent a further £39.99 and I had to join a club that involved paying £20/month. This is definitely not a free case of wine.

You're right this is definitely not a free case of wine and very disturbing news; the voucher your supposed to receive from Uswitch is a £40 off voucher. Please can you email archna AT moneysavingexpert.com with info so we can check this out.

Please clarify something though. Did you apply via the MSE link to Uswitch or did you go direct to Uswitch. As explained in the artlce you only get the FREE wine if you go via the MSE link. If you went direct it does give a voucher for wine where you have to spend to get it.

Maybe that is where I went wrong. I did it just before Christmas so perhaps I went straight to U-switch without thinking. That's why you are the money-saving Expert and not me!!
