Cashback question

After following the car insurance advice, i'm getting the cheapest quotes from Money Saving Supermarket ( Kwik Fit and E sure ) and Confused ( E sure, Halifax and Kwik Fit ). My question is, is using a cashback site going to make my renewal any cheaper?

P.S. It looks like i'm going to save just over £300 on renewal !

Thanks in advance

Rockie

if you can get the quote, save it to retrieve later , then find it on a cashback site then yes.Did the same last night for £100 via quidco at privilege

well i tried this last year.

went through quidco and finally decided on TSB.
great i thought ,dearer than the year before and dearer than my renewal quote,
but what the hell i'm getting £120 cashback

    well it never tracked:mad:
i paid more for my TSB car insurance than expected.
    wished i had not bothered.

never had much luck with quidco done about 6 transactions with them and only had 1 track, this still has not been paid to me its only for 54p from last december.

Sorry you've had a bad experience.
Has it occurred to you that something might be wrong at your end?
Have you checked out all the help pages about everything you need to do?
For example do you have your internet browser settings correct for cookies?

If you are having recurrent problems then it might indicate that you aren't following all the instructions.

Many of us have had great success although I would never recommend paying more on the basis of cashback as it's never guaranteed (and this is made clear).

    Hi,

Going back here to when you refer about £100 off privilege from quidco in march.. i was wondering whether this was for if you paid in march and your insurance policy didn't start until april..

    Thanks.
