Went to Boots yesterday hoping for a freebie mascara, but there was no-one at the Estee Lauder counter. Also, no signs to indicate offer in my store, are there usually signs up for these offers? Anyway, another SA offered to have a look, in the end 2 looked through all the drawers but couldn't find any small mascaras to give away  . They said to come back today, but is offer over now?
Ended up going to House o Fraser and ask at the Estee Lauder counter there, again no staff, but Clinique girl found me a small Estee mascara and took my old Lancome mascara. So got something, but had hoped to exchange 4 old mascaras

Hope this helps someone, not sure whether the EL mascara trade-in offer has ended or not but they often will continue an offer after the closing date if they still have the stock.0 -

Yeah that's what I do when I know the person wants to pay in points, it makes life so much easier than putting everything through and bagging it all up only to be told that I have to take loads of it out and work out the prices of which things to void etc.
Thanks for all the lovely words from everyone, I was really down about the whole matter as I take things like this to heart. Luckily that manager was nice, I dread to think what would've happened if she'd gotten through to another manager :eek:0 -
geordie_lass wrote: »Just noticed over on the Magazine vouchers thread that Glamour magazine April issue has a card on the front cover for a free trial size mascara from Estee Lauder, available at Boots, Debenhams or any other store/department store with an Estee Lauder counter. Mag comes with a free spotty bag too, various colours to choose from. DD usually gets this mag so I'll check out any T's&C's when I see it.

The offer finished on 16th March see link here. But it also adds "While stocks last until 31st March. So it is worth asking. HTH~ What goes around comes around ~0 -

Found some good buys at Boots today.
FCUK sport scrub - 98p clearance, 2 for 3, AND used a "buy one get one free" coupon from the ACM, so paid 98p for three! These are normally £3.95 each!
17 blush - 65p on clearance and got a free lip glaze with coupon
Lee Stafford Babe Wave conditioner - £1.12 on clearance, used a £2 haircare coupon (that I found laying in the ACM!), so got it free
NO7 charm bracelets - £1 each on clearance
Sensodyne toothpaste - 99p
Also got the 2 for £6 hair glaze at Superdrug.
On a side note, Tesco has Olay Regenerist Thermal Polisher on sale for £3.74. This is a great face cleanser/exfoliator that sells for £7.50 at Boots. I tried it when Boots had the £5 off Olay till spits (to keep it all Boots related).0 -
Thanks for that tip clare+3
, I didn't realise TD could be returned.
I bought a couple of the starter kits at £9.99 but used the TD £5 off voucher. If it goes back up to it's original price, it'd be better for me to get £4.99 than have it sitting on a shelf gathering dust
I guess if you've got your receipt, you'd prob just get back the £4.99 you paid (after the voucher was taken off - but I'm never sure whether vouchers count as actual "money" or not, sorry!), but without a receipt I think you'd be able to swap it for something else worth £9.99 (once Time Delay goes back up to full price) - perhaps put it towards a Sanctuary purchase and get the next GWP??? Good luck!0
