There were a few aftershave sets reduced the DKNY be delicious for men and Diesel for Life but didnt need these as I have already got my xmas pressies for next year sorted for the guys lol

Picked up a few items in the clearance section. Managed to get 2 bottle bags for 75 pence each and a sanctuary shower creme for £1.50. They had loads of johnson baby washes but they looked like they had been kicked around the stock room floor so I left them :rotfl:

On my voucher it says No change will be given if product purchased is under £2. And I've got the JF 5ml serum 3 times for free basiclly.

My shopping was a right mixture today lol.

1st transaction at Kingston R

JF Serum free with £2 spit
Got 2 x packs chapsticks @75p each in clearance
Boots Baby Expert HtT Wash used PC voucher paid 0.99p (did this again)
Boots expert Soap .87p used points coupon H & B (never worked)

2nd transaction Prospect

2 x AF selection Boxes in clearance paid £3.33 each
2 x Boots smile mouthwash paid 90p for both
(so pleased with that little shop)



3rd transaction Prospect

2 x Mirror/Frame BOGOF so paid £1.50
3 x 2 No 17 eyeliners & glaze paid £1.15
1 x Expert soap 0.87p (points never kicked in again)
Pantene Shampoo & Conditioner got free product with each. Used £2 PC voucher but took off £2 once only. So glitch must be sussed.
Olay Handcream £4.97 used £5 PC voucher so free
JF serum using £2 so free.

My friendly SA told me about new sanctuary and Sento GWP. Got my sanctuary tried to used £3 voucher from last GWp till beeped. Tried to another £3 voucher from hatbox I bought but till beeped. These chuffing coupons!!

Later in the afternoon went back tried to get JF serum again using £2 voucher SA refused to do it. Wouldn't even put it through the till. Also had the 3 for 2 No17 twice to go through on 2 sep transactions. Due to having 2 lipliners reduced in one lot and 2 eyeliners reduced in 2nd she refused again. Didn't even try and spat at me off to get the manager. Okie dokie I said. Already bought this lot this morning etc no problem. Jeeez manager was lovely....not to cut a long story short manager said she was happy to let me have one liner and get the glaze free. Fair enough I said manager stomping she was going to call a meeting blah blah. Wanting me to name SA's who had previously served me......don;t think so:mad:

Sa waffling about she'll get into trouble if she lets 3 items go through for £1.15 so I said fine don't want you getting into trouble etc. She puts 1 lipliner through and the glaze then voucher till bleeps. Spits back at me thats cos you've not spent enough so I said put the 2nd lip liner through bet till doesn't beep so she put it through and till doesn't beep. She then cancelled my sale and said can't sell 3 items for a £1.15. Had to go get manager so she came back and took out her key and over rode what the till was saying so I could have one 1 liner and the glaze.

I couldn't help myself I did try and bite my tongue honestly...........when I saw this I said hang on a minute you're arguing with the till it's letting me have the 3 items its you who is stopping me. The till is saying no I can't have 2.......you've lectured me about getting told off which I said was fair eough didn't want that.......but now you are overriding the till and what the till says...........!!!!!!! unbelievable

Also refused me the JF serum and supposedly no one should be getting that either so another meeting about that blah blah

Wasn't a happy puppy I can tell ya;)

How can they let you have things that go through ok in one transaction, but not the same in a second transaction?

Went to Cheshire Oaks Boots today..nothing much doing in the reduced section got some johnsons pearl 24hr lip balm for 50p, was convinced that they had an estee lauder counter went with mascara in hand for free swap ...ooops got it wrong no EL counter!!! LOL

Doesn't look as if the reduced section has been replenished of late unlike the bromborough one which had plenty of stuff on it yesterday...so maybe it's due for some new items soon (fingers crossed)

let me know if anyone goes and they have restocked the clearance shelves

Yes thats the one. In our store there was only 3 of these so SA said she hadn't put sel on shelf. If it didn't work to call her and she'd make sure it went through has paperwork upstairs. So that lot was no problem for me today. This SA is lovely really I hadn't spotted her and I walked round the corner and I heard hello trouble and it was her:rotfl:
