Hi, and can I call you maddie? Otherwise I'll be typing "Hi, I_am_mad" when I'm not ....much ;)

I think, to get some bargains, it helps if you use some vouchers ;), instead of hoarding them lol :D but what were you looking for exactly?

:hello: Hi, fellow Lutonian. I've just been admiring your list of purchases in our local Luton branch and wishing I had the money and guts to approach the tills with all your bargains!!
I was just wondering which till you think is the best (or SA) for putting through your vouchers. After reading a previous message when the No7 voucher was still active and buying some vouchers cheap on Ebay I went to the Photo till with about 5 No7 vouchers and some small No7 items including nailvarnishes etc... and asked to put them through separately so i could use them all up before they ran out two days later and I don't think they were too impressed!!
I'm a off for a brief visit to town and Boots on Monday but I'm not optomistic anything will be left on the clearance stand after the weekend but just want to get some S&G for the 400 points and something with my haircare voucher. I was just wondering if in your transactions you used the £3.00 off Mens No7 voucher from your sandwich with the 250 GWP No7 skincare points or did you not use this as I would like to know if they work together and which mens No7 items you can use them both on?
Aso I have a 75 points APCM voucher for purchasing any Umberto Giannini Colour item and wondered if I could combine this with the £2.00 Haircare voucher?
    TIA
(Off the subject I know but is Woolies worth a visit before they close down!!!)

    Hi

I only managed to spend 65p in woolies lol

I tend to use the tills at the pharmacy counter, they laugh when I produce voucher after voucher and I say to them ok I'm going round again see you in a minute

They put the expert voucher through on the razors that are £1.11 on SEL so effectivly I'm getting them for 11p

I used the voucher from sandwich on No7 for men but didn't have a 250 points or would have used that too, thinkng about it I think I forgot to use one out of mag too lol

I do use the tills upstairs on photo counter when buying from clearance shelves, had a basket full today and the poor guy was having to change prices on everything but he was in high spirits and just laughed

Don't forget to take your old mascara back when you go in on Monday and get a free one from Estee Lauder

Think I was in there the same time as Sally06 so they had us both to contend with:rotfl:

    Yes, it's great isn't it. :T :T

I spent a load of points at the weekend and one of the items was a time delay moisturiser. The SA was really surprised, and queried it (In a really nice way) she asked me how I managed to get discounts on points. When I told her it was because I was 61 she looked really doubtful. She had obviously never seen it before.

Or it could have been because I looked so very young that she couldn't possibly believe I was that old :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: What do you think, I have posted my photo here

pollsdolls, that is too funny:rotfl: you should've saved that for April 1st:rotfl:

Sorry love, it's not a policy change, link saves and bogof's etc all work when paying with points. You just don't get any points back. No regular points and no extra/offer points.

Thanks Orlaith :D you just answered wendym's question I think ;)

Interesting to note that bogof's work with points though :)

Hiya:wave: He's a real sweetie on the photo counter isn't he? most of the staff who work upstairs are really nice. I always pay upstairs, especially when I use a lot of vouchers;)

All, I bought today was a garnier eye cream. I saw them yesterday and wasn't too keen, but today I changed my mind:rotfl: 2.00 discount kicked-in so only paid 2.20ish.

He is not bad looking either you can kill a bit of time looking at the eye candy while he works his way through your basket:rotfl:

Talking of baskets I wish Boots would sort theirs out I lose everything through the holes!

...So would I:D or a 99p store. Poundstretchers has closed too. Imagine getting a 99p store and poundland...in my dreams:rotfl:

DD bought loads of jewellery from woolies the other day. Everything was 10p:D I forgot to have a look in there today though. Did you get much?

I'm in London tomorrow. I'll be popping into Boots in Ken high st, oxford street and nottinghill...hopefully. And maybe a few other stores. Will report back if I find any bargains:D
  • Just wondering, when exchanging the GWP Dreamlash mascara do you go to the No7 counter or Estee Lauder? Can we exchange for any brand or does it have to be one of these two?

Don't know the answer to the question tho' as i'm thick 2day. Question is : What was the first unisex fragrance in the CK fragrance collection? There is a GWP as well if you spend £30 - 10 free music downloads from e music.
