So do I but it really makes me wonder if it's worthwhile when nasty a**holes sneer that they don't want the offers :(

    Ohh don't get me started!

    "these are b.o.g.o.f"

    "no thanks"

I put the sale through - usually no ad card and then they say

    "free? did u say Free"

and the saga of a refund blah blah blah continues...

Just some information for everyone unless it has already been mentioned...
If you are in the H.Club and you are over 60 you can get the 10% discount even when you pay with points!!

Had a great trip into Boots today so here goes for those of you that like shopping lists, move on for those of you that don't because its rather long:rotfl:

ok first transaction I spent 3778 of my points this was all on items from the clearance shelf including lots of Naked, cucumber range, spa, Charles Worthington and I also bought a lunch deal (for the voucher) so then I was left with a mere 271 points

    2nd transaction

    17 341
naked hair mask (but one get one free) £7.99
    expert twin razors
    JF serum
    S&G body wash
    flight socks reduced to £6.50

paid £24.59 (total savings on receipt £16.44)
    894 in points.................points now 1164

    3rd transaction
    17 341
    expert twin razors
    JF serum
    No7 mens boy wash
    S&G heel genius

Paid £13.10 (total savings on receipt £12.65)
    662 in points.....................points now 1827

    4th transaction
    breath right nasal strips £6.59
decided to pay with points but only paid 439 points!
    points now 1388

    5th transaction
Pantene condioner with free serum worth £3.99
    expert razors
    JF serum
    total to pay £3.98
    108 points...................points now 1496

    6th transaction
    Pantene condioner with free serum
    expert razors
    JF serum
    total to pay £3.98
    108 in points................points now 1604

Phew got there in the end!

On another note got £40 worth of baby clothes for my friend who has just had a little girl for a tenner!! 75% off in Wilko's also got some bargains in "The Works" and my local Woolies is closing down!!

So I feel all shopped out now

:hello: Hi, fellow Lutonian. I've just been admiring your list of purchases in our local Luton branch and wishing I had the money and guts to approach the tills with all your bargains!!
I was just wondering which till you think is the best (or SA) for putting through your vouchers. After reading a previous message when the No7 voucher was still active and buying some vouchers cheap on Ebay I went to the Photo till with about 5 No7 vouchers and some small No7 items including nailvarnishes etc... and asked to put them through separately so i could use them all up before they ran out two days later and I don't think they were too impressed!!
I'm a off for a brief visit to town and Boots on Monday but I'm not optomistic anything will be left on the clearance stand after the weekend but just want to get some S&G for the 400 points and something with my haircare voucher. I was just wondering if in your transactions you used the £3.00 off Mens No7 voucher from your sandwich with the 250 GWP No7 skincare points or did you not use this as I would like to know if they work together and which mens No7 items you can use them both on?
Aso I have a 75 points APCM voucher for purchasing any Umberto Giannini Colour item and wondered if I could combine this with the £2.00 Haircare voucher?
    TIA
(Off the subject I know but is Woolies worth a visit before they close down!!!)

    Yes, it's great isn't it. :T :T

I spent a load of points at the weekend and one of the items was a time delay moisturiser. The SA was really surprised, and queried it (In a really nice way) she asked me how I managed to get discounts on points. When I told her it was because I was 61 she looked really doubtful. She had obviously never seen it before.

Or it could have been because I looked so very young that she couldn't possibly believe I was that old :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: What do you think, I have posted my photo here

Back from my trip to london and there wasn't anything to be had. Lots of hat boxes but still £9 and sorry dollardog no suede Sanctuary bags either. i nearly got a car seat for £10 the only thing in the clearance but i would have had to carry it all day so i didn't bother. It was really odd i could count on one hand how many people were in there i expected it to be really busy but i guess everyone knew there wasn't anything worth having.

Oh and after B-o-t store telling me that they weren't dropping the prices of the hat boxes they did as my mum went in on wed and they have all completely vanished when i counted 25 only 2 days before. SA's got them all me thinks. HATE *that* store:mad:
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)

Sorry love, it's not a policy change, link saves and bogof's etc all work when paying with points. You just don't get any points back. No regular points and no extra/offer points.

Well my Boots tills must override link saves - bogofs work with points, but the staff absolutely insist that you can't gain points in any form when you're redeeming points.
