I bought 5 s+g feet 1 s+g feel the kneed and 9 jf serum i had to split purchases into seperates so the 400points would go through. security guard had obviously been called by the man downstairs who had served me my 5 h+b mags which i promptly dissected for s+g voucher. I only got 200 points instead of 400 cos dippy assistant didn't scan em right. Will cs give them back?

strange man serving me mags then appeared upstairs near the till then the security gaurd appeared and stood behind the poor assistant putting my purchases through.

Now if getting the maximum amount of points on your purchases becomes a security issue then i would say it will be a boost for unemployment and boots will need to employ more security gaurds.

I didn't even have any expert or nivea for free points or any free toothbrushes, only went in to use last few acm s+g vouchers on way to cinema.

Anyway i got a tillspit survey so i will definately be using it.
SA was lovely btw.

Am jealous of the real cheap hat boxes and steamy showers but i don't really need them and am glad some peeps are getting the bargains

hi heyjustme it almost appeared to be, two were by sanctuary and S&G turned around and two more were just walking around and then spotted them alot more around the make up, MF, no 17 etc. it was quite funny though as they must have been approached lots of times by us lot thinking they work for boots and must have got sick of it.

thanks im07 forgot it is near year end for them (prev op) was poss stock take. Although did'nt see any shady goings on this morning near me. apart from the scary sa with the funny eyes . or was just just watching me with one eye.:rotfl: only messing

I am totally confused having just looked at my receipt from my earlier trip...

I managed to find the Sanctuary Sento GWP and so decided to buy some body butter and bath foam to spend the £10 to get the GWP. I also had the £3 voucher from the previous GWP to use up. But on the receipt it has the GWP under a "link save" heading but instead of scanning at £0.00 it's come up as £3.00, then underneath under the heading "coupon save" it's taken the £3 from the voucher, and the 2 products I was purchasing to get the GWP are listed at the bottom, on the bit of the receipt where it lists all the other things you've bought that don't have offers/promotions applied. (I hope this is making sense!)...

Basically what I am asking you experienced-receipt checking-bootsers does this mean this didn't really work out as a GWP and just scanned as £3.00 reduced from £10, and that it was only free because I used my voucher? It looks like I didn't actually need to buy the body butter and bath foam at all.

Have I confused everyone? I've certainly made my head hurt lol!

Went shopping 2 day and got a John Frieda weather works shampoo which is normally £5.49 reduced to £2.25 due to a cracked lid. Used £2 till spit so spent 25p. Bought Expert baby shampoo on offer at £1.99 instead of £3.49 and used i/2 price coupon from Pc and 100 ACM voucher so they gave me 1p to take it home. Bought Max Factor mascara and got black hexagonal GWP. Had to sneak it whilst MF lady was at the till with someone else. Took it to Sa at main till and she never said owt or confiscated it so i'm wll pleased. Just for info they are still doing free mascara swap at Estee Lauder at Doncaster and also at Binns whilst they have stock if anyone is still interested.;)

Hi, been reading this thread for a couple of months with interest. Thanks to all the contributors for the glitches and bargains!

Just a heads up for those waiting for the pink champagne to be reduced. It was on the shelves in Northampton town centre for £3.24 today. There were only a couple of bottles left by 4pm (upstairs next to the main till).

Here's hoping it's a nationwide reduction! :beer:

Vanda, Not sure if I was just super lucky today with the palette due to offer not kicking in on the tills? May be that as sometimes the non 'live' GWP's go through 0.00, as per the MF GWP's at the moment.

Or it could be totally wrong till programming allowing it through at 0.00 from tommorow anyway, or it could be £5 spend, but using the original price of the 17 items before they were discounted.

Guess we will not know until some brave bootsers try and report back tommorow
