Wish my local Boots had one of these on offer, I'd snap it up in a jiffy!!

I got the last one in the store, was so pleased!

...I really should be asleep by now, I'm working from 8am!

How rude of them for not getting back to you:mad: Good luck with getting signed off for longer. You are right about your health being more important than money. I do hope you get better soon.

RE my eye problem: I am waiting for the hospital to contact me to arrange an appointment. I am worried about the rise in pressure, but there is nothing I can do until they send for me. In the mean time, I have bootsing to take my mind off it:D

    Hi Sally06

Thanks, I am off to [STRIKE]Physio[/STRIKE]/torture this morning!
I am not sure I can be bothered fighting them any more.I see my GP this afternoon.

Re your eyes, can you phone the department and ask very nicely to be put on a cancellation list? It would do no harm to try.We have cancellation lists where I work and if someone is really nice on the phone the receptionist tends to remember then and do what she can;)
Our waiting list is very long at times(although according to the press/goverment its only 8 weeks!) and the staff get a lot of abuse over the phone!

Thanks everyone for listening to/reading my moans yesterday. It helps to get it off my chest. You are all so supportive :T :T :T

Might pop into Boots after Physio but its not the best branch for bargains and glitches!
Might get a lunch deal as a treat!

Yes I think they did look nice but for some reason I was indecisive yesterday!?! If I had bought it it would only have been for me and as I got some S&G feet dreams (or whatever it was called ) and heal balm could not justify any more (feet things) not that I have to justify anything IYKWIM.

    :A

I've just looked at them again (haven't put yesterday's shopping away yet  lol) and they do seem a bargain - even at £5 :) Maybe it's the colour, because it can get a bit boring looking at the orange Sanctuary stuff all the time.

I forgot to mention that the SA said the usual "you've got a lot of points" ;), so I said I was paying with points so would have a few less ;) Then after she'd put all the bits and bobs through, it deducted what I'd 'spent' and added on the 1,000 for the GWP :D So instead of 'spending' £28.93, I actually 'spent' £18.93 lol.

Off to unpack yesterday's shopping

There was a bookshop opposite :) but an even better one around the corner - all books (not second hand) for £2 ...!

That was me passion8:DAt first, I bought 2 gift sets. They were reduced to 3.75, but I forgot about the 3.00 sanctuary vouchers. About a week later, I bought another gift set, also 3.75 and this time I used a 3.00 voucher and paid 75p:j I was so shocked the till didn't beep, because everytime I've tried using these vouchers, the till has beeped. I was thinking of buying kyphi hand cream for 4.25 - 3.00 voucher, leaving 1.25 to pay. Anyone tried this?

I should have known ;) and afaik Sally, the only things those vouchers don't beep on is the giftsets lol. But as they've got a decent length of time left on them, I'll hang on to them. Can't believe I wasted two vouchers on two bars of soap :o;)

    You did well there :T

Do you all hide the JF Frizz serium for £1.99 in loads of shopping or can you get away with buying it on its own with the till spit?

I got two the other week just on their own. I handed them over one by one with the vouchers. The SA did say you couldn't use it with minis I said it's not a mini it's just small:D Both went through OK.

Funny I have physio on Friday's too and my treat is to pop into Boots afterwards, today though I am off all day so I shall now jump in the shower and smoother myself in Jam Sessions, put on some No7 make up and hit town I think!

Sally06 left some reduced naked products on the clearance shelf so I had better get there quick and take a look:rotfl:

Wow! Got a few of these free with £2 voucher and kept thinking they'd just sit and gather dust. But this morning blasted hair with dryer as running late for taking DD to school and hair was awful, really frizzy (usually used 'wet to straight' straighteners once nearly dry). So spotted one of the little tubes of frizz ease serum, I know it says to use on wet hair but thought I'd nothing to lose, so put a bit on then straightened and looks great (if I do say so myself, lol:rotfl: ).

So my stack of serums will be used, sorry to ramble!!!!
  • hithis is my first post on this thread but thought i would mention there are 1500 points online on gucci perfume (the new one) and then you get an extra 500 points for a £50 spend (i added some coconut leave in conditioner on buy one get one free so it was £50.29 p then i used a discount code i got sent for £10 off which made it £40.29 p with a total of 2200 points off in the end giving me a perfume to try for £18.29 worth £49.00!!!think thats right in my calculations! plus i used quidco (first time!) and used up some money i had stashed in paypal.just hope it smells nice now as i ordered it in a frenzy but when i had read the description before it had all the notes i normally like so fingers crossed!also do they still have the p&p gift boxes in the shops or not now as i wouldnt mind one if i get out into town.thanksx

All Wisdom toothbrushes are BOGOF in my local store. Any idea how this will work with the half price voucher from the mag? I'm a bit of wimp about trying these things! Cheers.
