  • I managed to get the pink MF GWP in Horsham boots - no MF SA around - I did buy a nail polish as well, they also had Wisdom toothbrushes in stock and loads of lip glazes and mags. Lots of toothpaste in the clearance - managed to get some Boots basic for 4p each.
    Shop 1 - Horsham

    Wisdom toothbrush - -.01p
Exp twin disp razor £1.11 - and 100 points
    JF serum - free
    MF Nailfinity - £5.50
    MF GWP
    basic toothpaste x 3 - 0.12
    3 4 1 no 17 - 0.58

Total: £7.30 and 100 points and another £2.00 voucher.

Also popped into the Worthing retail park and picked up a gorgeous feet cream for 75p in the clearance and managed to use my 50 point AC voucher with it, they had expert mitt's as 59p SEL but went through till at £1.29.

Many thanks to everyone on here - starting bootsing in Jan after spedning all my points in the sale and now have £87.97 (saving for a camera) and loads of presents sorted.

I think someone mentioned it a few pages back, but to repeat: Boots seem to be heading in to a repackaging of all it's "Smile" dental products. I've found lots on the Clearance shelves over the last couple of days. Tubes of toothpaste and dental fixative cream from 20p, toothbrushes from 7p (not as good as free but....!!) pump toothpaste at 50p, dental picks etc. Worth looking out for and stocking up....and no problems with nasty bleepy tills or soor-faced assistants either.

My lot seem to lose a toothbrush and/or paste every trip or sleepover they go on, so I always like to keep a few spare ones in the cupboard.

Boots seem to be repackaging all their brands. The essentials (eg cucumber and fragrance free) have been done, they've done their cheap shampoo, the spa range has been taken off the shelves for the new packaged ones to appear, 17 make up is selectively being reduced (eg the bronzing range) as it has been repackaged already. No7 prob won't as it was changed quite recently, but keep an eye on the other brands ;)

Does anyone know if Boots will be open on Monday, and if it's regular hours?

Also, there's a little Boots in the train station here (I never use the train station, or I would've checked it already), but would a store like that be worthwhile looking for deals? Would they have S&G and glitch deals? It would be a new place to try after voucher mishaps at the other stores!

I don't know about all branches but the main Belfast one is open but only from 10-5 (regular hours are 8-7). I assume all other chains (not just Boots) will be the same as it's a public holiday (and staff need a bit of time off too :p).

Has anyone tried the sensitive washing powder and washing up liquid. I saw that it was half price for health club members and thought about giving it a go.

I went to Beckton Triangle Boots Clearance yesterday - got a bag full of stuff for £15. They had a lot of Christmas stock there -and not just the dregs that were in the shops! They had loads of vitamins at 20p a pot, lots of Sanctuary stuff from 50p, plenty of kids clothes and toys, etc.

Also went to Neck Clearance next door - but didn't buy anything, and went to Gallions Reach TKMax and got some 7 for all Man Kind cords for just £15! All in all a great day - bargains galore!
