It !!!!!!s like the OP that make this country a joke
You broke your leg partaking in a dangerous sport, the NHS fixed it and complications ensued, they then fixed the complications
Im sure your expert opinion about the kink is so brillant, get a !!!!ing grip, these accident companies are a joke and I hope you lose and incur a financial loss
I broke my leg also in october 2006, I also suffered significant knee ligament damage, Im still a year away from anything like a full recovery and have had a lot of dealings with the NHS
If you dont like it !!!! off and live in america or somewere else and pay for it
People like you are a disgrace to this country and always looking for something for nothing
Medicine is notoriously difficult and yours and some diddy lawyer who wasnt good enough for a proper job isnt going to trump several doctors and proper lawyers0 -
Do you know what will happen when you pursue this case?
Everyone involved in your care will be called to give statements. Nurses, Doctors etc. Often the Doctors will have moved on to different areas so it will take time to track them down.
It is traumatic for something like this to happen. It affects your day to day life and can affect your judgement when in any situation that feels similar.
I broke my arm when I was young and I had a lump for a considerable time afterwards. I later learnt (in GCSE biology) that this happens and is scar tissue which is eventually eaten away. So it may well have appeared that this was going to be the case for you.
As Healthcare professionals we have to be very very careful when deciding the route of care for a patient. The NHS is now all about patient choice- you have highlighted the difficulties with patient choice but it has been fought for to protect the most vulnurable parts of our society. Something that Britain is all about and I am damn proud to be British with a health system like ours. It's just a shame that money goes to the wrong places.
BTW I didn't sue the museum where I broke my arm, just thanked my lucky stars that I didn't break the exhibit. Maybe I should sue them now?Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
I to broke my leg, was 4 years ago now. I was sent home with no xray and an explaination of a torn ligament funny seeing as it was my knee and you could see my leg was bent outwards. Ten days later i was in such pain the doctor phoned the hospital and told them to xray it as she believed it was broken. Had xrays yep broken would have to stay and have operation to have screws put in yuk. I was on crutches for 4 months, still cant run have a lot of pain in the cold but would say yeh at first the hospital was naff but when needed i was putin front of people for surgery the next day so wouldnt really go for compo. On the other hand my daughter went in for her appendix out ended up in intensive care for two weeks as they didnt clean her out properly and had septasemia. In intensive care they decided to open her stomach with a scalpel while she was awake with no anesthetic screaming her head off. After a few days taken to a dirty ward where her wound got infected in which im not surprised as i had to tell them to cover her stomch with dressings on numerous occasions. Now she has mrsa and her doctor wont give her antibiotics even though she still has half her stomoch open and its eating the flesh in this case i would go for compo she cant work has been nearly 3 months or go out and is pain and no one really cares!.0
