    Hi All,

I've had a few problems with my 206 and have finally had enough. Managed to get the car dealer to go halves with me on the repair costs but now the CD player eats my CD's!!

I've had enough now and the guy at the garage said Peugeots are selling really well at the moment. Can anyone give me a rough idea what price I would be looking at, trade and private sale.

    50,000 miles
    52 Reg
    1.4 engine

    MM

    Have a look on here

Nope, no mention of it on there. From what I have read on forums, Peugeot even know about this fault and are not doing anything about it. These 206s are so common, I mean there must be over 10 just in the estate where I live. And I have seen dozens in the neighbourhood and at the local sainsburys. Looks like this was a cash-cow for them.

Ok I do have a car in mind .. but its been involved in a plate change. Is this a good or bad thing, any reason why the plate could have been changed?

Dont' know for now, but apparently the dealer's assistant said there is nothing on the log book to indicate a plate change, yet a car check online does definately indicate a plate change. Are plate changes not indicated on a v5?

the symptoms described here is what i think is the crank sensor had it replaced on my 307 1.6 same symptom drive down road car goes unresponsive no acceleration and all of a sudden bang its off up the road or would just die or stall. cheap part easy to replace and dont show up on ecu faults from my experience as mine went on reader loads before bro in law said change that (crank sensor) i did and it was cured.
