Condensor dryer tripping the electrics

I'm sure I saw a post on here a while ago about this but I can't find it.
A few months ago my tumble dryer (condensor) stopped working - every time it was turned on it tripped the electric circuit, it was left for about a month or so and then started to work again.
Its now doing it again, I really don't want to have to wait a month for it to decide whether or not it'll start working, I can't get a new one until the end of the month and I could really do without having to dry clothes manually.
So is there anything I can do to see if I can get it to carry on for the next few weeks if nothing else?
Thanks.

You've probably checked, but make sure the condenser unit isn't clogged up. Depending on your model, its usually at the bottom of the appliance. Mine is behind a pull down panel. Get it under a tap or even a hose and flush out any fluff build up. One other thing to check is that there is adequate ventilation around the dryer. I sometimes have to pull mine forward on a hot day, making sure there is plenty of room at the rear of the dryer.0

I've taken the back off it, cleaned it out and dried it as it was quite damp its working atm, hopefully I won't have to do that too often.
I do wonder if moving it might be an idea as its in quite a confined space. On a related note, its currently next to my fridge freezer which is frosting up like mad - its a new unit so I'm not sure if I've not quite cracked the temp on it yet or if its due to the tumble dryer. Would anyone be able to shed any light on that?0 -
you might be thinking about a thread I started some time ago, it seemed that if we didnt clean out the condendsor (not just the fluff filter) every week (and I mean every week) then water seemed to settle on some part of the dryer (??condensor unit) the repair man used to take the dryer back off and seemed to just dry it out with a hair dryer, have also found that by leaving ot for a week or so it drys itself out but now am very strict about washing out the condensor, hope that helps0
