Interesting thread. I usually try and give as little as possible but I use Roboform and as I have a few things stored sometimes quite a bit gets filled in.
I like to use an old number, or a PAYG sim that has long since been useful.
BTW - my top tip is www.spamgourmet.com
- It's disposable email. You can create as many disposable emails as you like and let through 1-20 emails (and in/decrease the amount later).
If you are interested in seeing who sells on your details you can use a different spamgourmet email for everything you ever apply for.0 -
I "mistakenly" put in *Mrs* instead of my christian name, & always "mistype" my date of birth (oops, silly me!) and use my PAYG mobile number asa contact number, & i have a seperate email that I use for freebies/comps. I'm far too paranoid to put my real details in the system!
(have learnt my lesson)
Tightwad. And proud of it!

For your email addy, you can use "10 minute email" ; -
http://10minutemail.com/10MinuteMail/index.html
Expires after 10 minutes, but you can extend by 10 mins if the confirmation doesn't arrive quickly enough.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
what about competitions though? i avoid entering them coz i dont like giving my correct details! wot does evry1 else do about comps?0

What about when you use Quidco etc? When you link to the chosen site, do you have to put all your correct details and email you use for them in order for the cashback to be tracked, etc & paid to your cashback account?0

However, If you are applying for a freebie in good faith you have every right to call yourself whatever you want, for example to use an abbreviation of your legal name or a nickname (as long as you are not applying for a bank account, passport etc. as previously stated).
what offence would that be then ?? stating 1 per household and applying by using a postcode cheat that the postal system mess up on aint considered an illegal offence :rolleyes:0
