Hi,
my mate has a penthouse apartment in Turkey that he rents out but I can't find any attractive flight prices.
apprently I can fly to Bodrum, Izmir or Dalaman and get transfers...
anyone got any ideas? Good Prices?
For 2 Adults, 2 Kids, dep 12th sep 2008 return 26th sept 2008.
I've looked everywhere but can't find anything decent.
thanks in advance for your help guys!

A friend of mine has an apartment in Altinkum and has has failed to rent it out at all in 2 years, as there are no regular direct flights from the UK. Sorry it's no help but I think you will have to fly indirect.0

Try these companies that fly into Bodrum.
www.goldtrail.co.uk
www.aegeanflights.com
www.thomsonfly.com
To get the cheap flights you would have needed to book them when they were first released.Your probably looking at over £200 pp a flight now."Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."0 -

No direct flights? He is having a laugh. He wont have rented it because he has bought in the cheapest part of Turkey and the rental market there is saturated:rolleyes:
OP, sloppychops has provided the main ones that usually do the cheapest but you can try www.xl.com & www.flythomascook.com - But you are looking at £200 PP. Also would suggest you stay away from dalaman - unsure of the exact transfer time but probably around the 4 hour mark - whereas bodrum & izmir are around the 90 minute mark i believe0 -
Hi, flights coming out at around £200, so do you think this is a good value holiday, given the low price of the apartment..?
what do you think?

You won't get flights much less than this at the moment. Fuel supplements have really pushed all fares up this year and Turkey seems to have been hit harder than most. maybe some last minute deals but if you really want to go, I'd book sooner rather than later. if the flights are not economic for the operator to run because of not enough bums on seats - then they will cancel and this is happening a lot at the moment when people waiting for last minute deals that won't happen!I am a Travel Agent My company’s ATOL/ABTA numbers are S0466/3973. Ah, right, I never knew that... that's a good little tip there, for moneysavers to bear in mind! :T0 -
Have your tried pricing as a 'package' I have 2 kids and find that it is sometimes cheaper as you may get free and reduced child places rather than having to pay full price for the flight only, even though a package the adult price may be higher, with the child discounts the total may work out at less (you won't have to use the package accomm but you will also get the transfers incl), worth a try.
Try www.h4u.co.uk they have good prices and most incl free child places, I have used them in July from Scotland and the prices are almost always the cheapest by far for me.
Hope this helps.0 -
