Hair!!! Help!

The main thing yet to sort out is my hair! I seriously got NO idea of what to do with it or who to get to do it! My normal hairdresser has point blank said she isn't good at wedding do's and doesn't wanna mess it up for me which is very honest of her but I'm stuffed at finding someone to do it at a cost that won't cripple me! And I don't know of any hairdressing colleges round Bicester (or even Shillingford which is where I'll be for the wedding!)

Not really - she's a mate but isn't local - she'd be at the wedding anyway as a friend but allher contacts are a fair way away :(

I got a card in information pack from the hotel for someone that other brides there have used.

My friend is doing my hair but I think I'm going to have it down. I'll feel exposed enough with my strapless dress let alone anything else.

Are you having a veil, as this will help you feel less "exposed".....it will partly cover your shoulders anyway :)

Awww Paddington you'll look gorgeous! :) I'm not going for the veil I think - will make final decision on that when I go for bridal fitting tho...

Because the skirt of my dress is tulle and organza and as it has a separate train in the same material I think a veil might look a bit OTT. Let's face it I am 40 and want to looks classic and not ridiculous. I'm pushing it a bit wearing white after all :rotfl:

I haven't decided if I'm going to have the train or not yet if I don't I will probably have a cathedral length veil.

I had a short veil last time and to be honest it was a pain in the backside especially as it was windy and someone had to hold it down for the photos.

I wonder how much time we spend fiddling about with details?????

  • Don't bother with your own hair - I found a great site http://www.missglamhair.co.uk - you just buy a fantastic hair piece that will stay looking fantastic all day. Matches your hair colouring and no more frizz or bad hair day and so easy to use!

They look great. I have three different sorts all different lengths as they are so reasonable.
