  • Thanks so much for all your replies.. been so helpful!

I have to admit that I drink champagne every weekend.. albeit 'cheap' ones or sparkling wine. But every now and then and Ilike something a bit special.

Ive got the 40% off voucher for threshers and by george am I going to use it!!!

Someone after my own heart. We drink a lot of champagne, range from a nice Cava to Bollinger. Cant beat it.

    Neither,

If you want award winning fizz from another country try Camel Valley Brut LINK.

    Its great.

I think both Jamie Oliver and Rick Stein sell it in their restaurants. (if they don't, they should).

.......As you can tell I like fairly sweet champagnes.... so I try to always add a few squeezed raspberries to the bottom of my flute!! Strawberries work just as well.

Gosh I really fancy a glass now!!!

I recommend you try this, it's really lush especially if you the additional raspberries.

    In a champagne flute:
2/10 Creme de framboise (Raspberry liqueur)
    8/10 Champagne

The best tasting without budget i would say would be Krug.

Use this website to enter the year of your birth, along with the name of a champagne and see how much it would cost you.

A bottle of Krug for me is £950!
