Reclaiming Child Tax Credit

Hi,
I saw the following advertisement in the Mirror Newspaper today.
Children's Tax Credit Reclaim
Does The Taxman Owe You Money?
Do you have a child who was born between April 1986 and April 2003?
Did you or your partner earn £6,000 or more in the tax years and 2002-2003?
If so, the Taxman could owe you up to £1000!!!
The company advertising are called Gladstone Brookes (www.gladstonebrookes.co.uk)
I was wondering if I could make the claim myself as the company are charging very high fees to claim on my behalf.
Thanks.

Hi
I contacted Tax Credits Helpline who in turn directed me to my local tax office - contacted them and all you need to do is send a letter to your local office advising them of your childrens details - name and dob.
They will then look into the claim.
No need to use a middle man!!!
hope this helps
