Hi all
This is my first post so pls go easy on me.
I'm having an extension built, rear ground floor (6x3m) approx and I need a plastering quote. The ceiling is the only part of the ext that needs completely doing as all the other walls have either a window or patio door inc the original patio door at the back of the house. I live in NW London so any ideas of price would be great !
Thanks

Hi, In your area, to plaster a complete room ie, backing coat or dot n dab, boarding the ceiling and then skimming the whole lot your looking at around the £600 mark including materials.
What about the floor? if the plasterer does that, then you could be looking at another £300 on top.

Hi Jason_s
The walls will require bonding of some sort but the ceiling has plasterboard up already so I guess just a skim. I have just worked it out to be approx 47m2 total area to be plastered and of that 18m2 is the ceiling. When are you available jason_s ? PM me on mayurw@yahoo.co.uk
cheers!0 -
I'd guess at around £700/8000

websites are not cheap things and if you pay peanuts you should expect work by monkeys.
of your 250, 20% would cover the hosting and domain name (including set-up fees etc.) for 12 months.
the other 200 would probably get you a basic 'cut-n-paste' layout that takes about 1hr to get up and running. If you want custom artwork (company logo's etc.) and bells'n'whistles (anything interactive) you should be looking at twice what you paid.
Having said that, if your site layout only has textual links, only looks right on one screen resolution, not a lot of graphics and requires lots of ActiveX controls before it will work, then yes, you got ripped off.0 -
