'Babycakes' clothing company.

My daughter talked me into ordering a t-shirt from them, as predicted, it turned up (after quite some time!) and turned out to ba pile of pants.

I returned it almost 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing from them, they have no phone number but I have sent several emails just to find out if they have in gact received it but they do not respond. I don't think they're a huge company so won't be snowed under.

I just get annoyed sometimes at the level of customer support with some of the on-line companys, I think that as they're 'faceless' they can do as they please.:mad:

Just think twice before ordering!

They sent pants instead of a t-shirt?

Did you buy on a CC? Have you been refunded?

I suppose a small company may not take too many orders but if it's a one-man show then relatively speaking they may be busy - but shouldn't be too busy to respond in that period of time.

Has anyone had a problem with this site

I don't think this site is at all realiable, we ordered three t-Shirts in November 2007 and to date we are still trying to get the order delivered or our money back. We have had numerous promised of the clothing despatched or our money refunded but so far nothing . If anyone has a contact number for them I would be grateful .

I've also been trying to get an exchange t-shirt for my daughter since November last year. Have emailed them umpteen times, been fobbed off continuously, have asked for a refund and sent them paypal details twice but still nothing. Have threatened them with small claims court but still no
t-shirt. Although it's only £10 I now feel it's a matter of principle and with no contact phone number I feel I have reached a dead end.Any ideas anyone?

contact them on myspace./trading standards is the next obvious answer.

I raised a paypal dispute over my refund. I claimed that they were unlawfully keeping both my goods and my money.

I got the refund 3 hours later.

I thought about commenting on myspace but they can get these posts removed.

Thankfully, my daughter has changed her image so not really into the t-shirts anymore.;)

They are quite a new company, and are run by a 21 year old guy and his mates. Hopefully the poor service you have experienced is teething problems? Anyway, hope that helps!
