U Switch "free case of wine"
Hi
I used U-Switch before Christmas and switched companies. I used U-Switch because they were giving a "free case of wine" from Virgin.
When I went to use the voucher, I had to buy a case worth at least £79.99 and was then given £40 off. It was not even just a money off voucher; to use it you had to sign up to their wine club which involves setting up a £20/month payment to Virgin wines.
Did I just miss the small print or am I so thick that I minsunderstand the phrase "free case of wine?"
Anyone else get the same thing?

That does not sound right at all - those Virgin vouchers are available to anyone (just get them from the Codes'n'Vouchers forum).
Do you know what their terms were when you applied? If they said "free case", that's exactly what it should be!
ETA: I switched under their "free bottle of champagne" offer and a man literally delivered a bottle of champagne to my door - I would expect no less for you.Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
On this website it said free wine and initially I am confident that it said the same on the USwitch website (although I can't check now coz it may have changed). When I went through with the switch I got the email with the voucher giving the exact details.
I will write to U-Switch and ask them. Glad you had a more positive experience.0
