Hi,
recently I moved into my first new appartment in southwest london. I've almost settled in, but there is one thing that is playing on my mind and that is the decision on what gas and eledtricity company to register with.
I'm toying with the idea of choosing 'British Gas' or 'EDF,' but am totally new to all of this and am not sure how to work out which company to start of with.
Any help that anyone could give me in regards to this decision would be greatly appreciated.

You must first register with the existing supplier, wait a while and then change.
The national average for gas usage is over 20,000kwh per year and for electric 3300kwh.
Perhaps less for a flat.
British Gas have a brutal service record, and all but Southern Elec tric have put up their prices.
Ebico (allied to S.E) is for light users, prices 2.55pence for gas inc vat, no standing charge and 9.32pence for Norfolk
You can put into a comparison site details for when you don't have exact figures. Energyhelpline is recommended.
Is your flat new or just new to you. ?
Why British Gas.? ...Quidco are paying £92 for switching to Scottish Gas.0 -
Avoid BG at all cost -there should be a government health warning about their poor customer service (I'll keep on moaning for another six months until I convince enough people not to join BG..:))'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' : Member number 632
