Last time I got something delivered by Argos it was delivered in a reality van but this was saturday delivery I'd paid for earlier this year. When I got my sofa delivered earlier this year that was an Argos branded van, also on a saturday so I'm very confused. Has the delivery price gone up other than the free delivery being scrapped?0

No the deivery charge is £4.95 still. They are charging the delivery charge on each and every order for home delivery no matter how much you spend.
 Hope that helps0

something to bear in mind - if you have an argos card the booklet of vouchers mailed out recently contained various coupons, including free delivery onesknow thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0

Hmm I have not seen the vouchers yet. Does that mean you can get free delivery as in the £4.95 being waved?0

No more free deliveries that sucks big time. Orders over £150 used to be free, where you could pay an extra £2.95 for next day or Saturday delivery (only on store stocked items).raeble wrote:Last time I got something delivered by Argos it was delivered in a reality van but this was saturday delivery I'd paid for earlier this year. Small items that you can pick up from an Argos store are delivered by Reality White Arrow. The larger items (Home Delivery Only) such as sofas are delivered by Excel. You can't normally get Saturday deliveries with Excel unless it is a busy time of year.
As far as I know Argos Direct, Reality White Arrow and Excel are part of the Argos Retail Group (ARG), owned by GUS plc. I had to watch a video about ARG for work but I switched off half way through.
If you can get free delivery vouchers that can't be a bad thing. Has anyone had one of these vouchers?0

If they are owned by GUS plc, I think they are still run as seperate businesses. Just as Homebase and Argos are run differently but sell the same items sometimes.0
