I have just been looking in the argos book and it would appear that they no longer offer free delivery for purchases over £100. Items that require delivery are now charged at £4.95. I reckon its because they're not in competition with Index anymore!

Argos Direct is not run by Argos but is contracted out to a third party. It might be that the company thats runs Argos Direct is charging more for delivery because of fuel costs and the upgrading of their vehicles.0

Argos direct is run by argos, but if you order an item which is usually available in a argos store but have it delivered then this is run by Reality (used to be White Arrow) on behalf of Argos Direct.0
