Hi,
I am travelling next week to Tenerife for the 1st time. Arriving in Tenerife south airport. My resort is in Puerto de la Cruz.
Can anyone please recommend a cheap, reliable airport transfer ( prefer shuttle if possible) ? Also can you guide me on approx. prices?
Thanks very much

Found the above not to reliable. On return journey from palma nova to palma airport the coach failed to pick us up. Had to take a taxi , get receipt and claim refund when we arrived home.
Surprise surprise when I contacted resorthoppa to claim refund they refused to reimburse me saying it was all my fault so i'm 30 euros down.0 -

The advantage of booking ahead is that you may be able to share a minibus with others to keep the cost down.
We did the same trip two years a ago, its about an hours drive, I think it cost us about the equivilent of £60. Sorry, can't remember which firm we used. Just look for the best price on line.
When you are in Puerto, the La Paz area is really nice, and the Parrot Park is a superb day out.Filiss0 -

We've just come back from a wonderful week in Puerto de la Cruz! We had our transfers arranged through our package holiday but I did find this site helpful for bus timetables (including buses going from the South airport to Puerto de la Cruz):
http://www.puertodelacruz.es/puerto/front_end/articulo.php?id_Art=139&idioma=2
The bus company in Tenerife is called 'Titsa' (much to my dh's amusement) so you could try googling that too!
I think a taxi would be VERY expensive for a journey as long as this... around 85 minutes by coach... as we were charged 80 euros for a trip between Puerto de la Cruz and Cristiania (which is not quite so far).
Someone on https://www.tripadvisor.com recommended this website for booking transfers:

HTH and have a lovely holiday!“A journey is best measured in friends, not in miles.”
