NO ur card statement shows u SPENT x amount in the store... it doesnt state what the item was.

thousands of ppl will have paid the same amount as u for 1 or more items to the value u spent in that store the same day u bought the trainers... How do u expect them to differenciate? if u have no receipt number they cant help u.

Thank you all for your reponses. I emaild next to complain about the way it was dealt with and received an email from them this morning. They apologised with how my return was dealt with and that Next's policy is that if the product is faulty then it should be exchanged at full price or a gift card given for full price. So i was in the right after all. Even though i had to fight them to get my exchange, they have been in touch with the branch to discuss the matter.
