Diverting VOIP calls to US number

I'm pretty taken with grandcentral.com. Recently bought by Google, it's a great way to manage phone calls.
It's only available for US numbers right now, but I already have a work number in the US.
I have the Orange Livebox at home here in the UK and am using their second line feature. This allows me to call the US for free.
I want to be able to route all my work related calls through Grand Central. I have people calling me on my US number (which i've now got configured with Grandcentral) but I also receive calls on my UK 0161 number, which is the Orange second line number.
Even though calls from the Orange VOIP second line to USA landlines are free, they won't allow you to forward calls to a non-UK number. So I can't 'close the loop' as it were and manage ALL calls via Grandcentral.
So I'm thinking there must be a work-around of some sorts which will enable me to route my UK number to Grandcentral.
Are there any VOIP services I can subscribe to for free which will give me another UK landline number, which I can then divert for free to a US number? I think this is possible with SkypeOut but it will cost a little bit.
Anyone know of any free way of doing this?
I know it's all very convoluted but I've got my teeth into this now!
Regards
