Cost of new cushions.

Hi, there
I've reposted this query here, it might have been in the wrong place before. Apologies if you're read it twice.
What sort of price would you expect to pay for a complete set of new cushions & covers for a 2-seater settee + 2 chairs (i.e. 8 cushions in all).
A local upholsterer which friends have recommended has quoted £500 for normal foam or £700 for "beaded" foam (may have got that description wrong).
That's quite a lot more than I was expecting although the truth is I had no idea at all how much these thing cost.
Is this price reasonable or at least in the right ballpark?

When you can buy a 3 and 2 seater leather sofa these days for £500 I wouldnt see the point in upgrading your current suite.Just owe Dad £2500 for a new car

Paid off car loan 22nd August 2009. :T0 -
I suspect the quality of what I have now exceeds what I could get for £500 by quite a margin.
Then again, could be wrong about that as well....0 -
when I was younger (a few years ago...) i recall seeing stalls on markets selling foam they would cut to size at £15-20 each.
I would have thought someone would still be doing that somewhere..... I wouldn't know how good quality they are though... Have you googled??
just did, try http://www.efoam.co.uk/ (just the top of the list) or google foam suppliers....0
